Trick or Treat...Happy Halloween!

Our little pumpkin!

The Nut House....truly.

Mommy carved her very first pumpkin, and she made Elmo. She had to do a little surgery around his mouth, but she didn't do too bad for a first time carver.

Ouchy! Lincoln's little boo boo finger....

Today, Lincoln had his 9 month checkup. He is getting so close to being 1 year old! The doctor says he looks great. He is 19 lbs and over 29 inches tall. Doctor says he is in the 80th percentile in height and 25th percentile in weight so he is tall and skinny! He is in the 90th percentile as far as his head circumference. Bigger head means bigger brain, right? haha... He only had to get a flu shot today, but he also got his finger pricked to check his hemoglobin. He did not cry at all....not even a whimper! Mommy would have cried! Mommy would rather have a huge needle stuck in her arm than a finger prick because those really hurt!! He is a wild man these days as he is crawling all around, and he is even standing by himself. He often catches himself just standing there and then reacts by grabbing on to something. When he takes off walking, we are in trouble! We are gearing up for the holiday season. We love Thanksgiving, and we look forward to decorating the house for Christmas to see what Lincoln thinks about all the lights! We don't even rival the house entering our neighborhood...they are the Griswalds! I think you can see their house from space. haha! Mommy has high aspirations for all the Christmas decorations in the basement, but we'll see what happens....We hope everyone is doing well! Here's a picture when we got home today. Lincoln was really tired and has his little Snoopy bandage on his finger.

Our visit to the Bluegrass State

Me with Grandma and Granddad Downs ready to go for a ride!

Everyone at the craft fair.

Daddy and Grandma at the craft fair.

Mommy, Daddy, me, Grandma and Granddad Downs out to dinner.

Mommy's new fall-themed wreath for our front door.

We went to Kentucky this weekend to meet up with Grandma and Granddad Downs and see all of Granddad's family. There was a really nice and big craft fair over the weekend. Mommy got two new wreaths for the front door, one for fall and one for Christmas. Mommy and Daddy ate some great catfish and potato wedges....yummy....and homemade fudge.....double yummy! The drive was beautiful, and we had a great time! We also watched UK (Granddad's alma mater) knock off #1 LSU in football when we were over at Uncle Kenny and Midget's house for dessert Saturday night (Midget by the way was on the floor praying for a UK win!). We had fun....thanks!

Our vacation in Ireland

We just returned home from vacationing throughout Southern Ireland, and we had an awesome time! We stayed in Galway, Killarney, and Dublin Ireland and traveled each day throughout the countryside. Lincoln was an angel! He slept on the flight all the way over and adjusted to the time change in 1 night. He ate regular meals and had his naps when we were traveling on our bus to different tourist locations. We did have trouble when we got home. The "black hole" Atlanta airport (Delta) cancelled our flight home literally as we stood below the plane to get on it. They wouldn't book us a flight until the next day so we ended up renting a car and driving home. Lincoln was the most tolerable of this whole event. He had very little sleep but was incredibly happy and only cried when we were about 30 minutes from home (after a 24 hour day of traveling home from Dublin w/ layovers, flight cancellations, etc). I have attached some photos from our trip. They may not be the best, but everyone has wanted to see something so here you go.....

Also, Mommy and Daddy celebrated their 2nd anniversary yesterday. Congrats Mommy and Daddy!
