Lincoln's Baptism

Today, Lincoln got baptized. Thanks to all who came out to see, especially Lincoln's new godparents, Tom and Merleen...We all had a lovely dinner courtesy of Tom and DJ, and Lincoln got some very nice gifts! We even celebrated with champagne...haha!!

Our visit to the Queen City

We went down for a short trip to visit Uncle Bennie and go to the racing shop he works @ in Mooresville. We also went to Lazy 5 Ranch, which is a 3.5 exotic animal drive thru park. Oma and Lincoln got up in the front seat to ride through the park, and we bought a bucket of feed to give to some of the animals (ones that won't kill you..haha). So, they obviously know what's going on!! Those nutty animals swarm your car and look right into your windows as if to say "Roll down your window and give me some food fool!"...Lincoln thought it was hysterical when they would come right up to his window and stare him down, but he got really bored after about a mile because the bigger, more harmful animals were further away. BUT, no turning back so we had to continue on down the ol' dirt trail...When we went to Uncle Bennie's shop, Lincoln got to sit in a race car and run around the racing shop. TOO FUN! He's found his calling ladies.....HOT race car driver!

Granddad Downs 80th Birthday Party

I went to Chattanooga this weekend for Granddad Downs 80th birthday party. I saw lots of out of town family, and it was so much fun. I had a blast and ran around at Granddad's party like a mad man last night! I crashed in the car before Mommy pulled out of the parking lot to go home. what fun....

18 Month Checkup

Lincoln went to the doctor today for his 18 month checkup. He is doing great and a pretty smart little guy. He weighed in at 25 lbs 12 oz. (50th percentile) and was 35.23 " tall (90th percentile). He got two shots and was his ol' self before the bandaid was even on! He's a trooper.
