Lincoln Goes to Daycare

Today mommy and daddy said, "Our little boy is growing up!" Today I started daycare. Mommy and daddy took me there to meet my new classmates. I was excited to "go to school" when I woke up but once I got there my shyness came out and I hugged mommy that much more tightly as she carried me inside. Once I got inside, I had fun playing with all the toys and games, I got to play with the drum, and I especially had fun playing with the other children. I did get a little upset when one of them took away the motorcycle that I was riding. I tried to reason with him but when that didn't work I got angry and kicked the motorcycle. He gave it back. I think I'm gonna like it here!

Granddaddy's Birthday Weekend

Granddaddy, Grandma, and Aunt Rosemary came up from Chattanooga this weekend to spend time with Daddy and me. Today is Granddaddy's 81st birthday. Aunt Rosemary and I made cupcakes for Granddaddy's birthday party and we put sprinkles and "crazy candles" on them. We lit the candles, sang "Happy Birthday" to him, and ate the cupcakes with ice cream. We had a lot of fun!
