Laughing at my crazy Mommy...

Here I am today waiting on Granddad and Grandma Downs to visit me. While I wait, Mommy has found it necessary to make ridiculous noises, which make me laugh!

Lincoln got his 1st shots today :(

So, today was the big bad day. Christopher and I had to take Lincoln for his first set of shots. I think I worried all morning. Noone wants to see their child in pain. We took him in, and they weighed him and the doctor did his assessment. The little man is growing like a weed. He is now 12 lbs. 3 oz., and he has grown another inch taller! He is getting more hair, and the color appears to be blonde at this point. Both Christopher and I had REALLY blonde hair when we were little. Now, look at us...we have multiple colors! haha... Lincoln got 3 shots and an oral vaccine. Christopher held his hands, and I stood behind the nurses. He was half asleep so he didn't see it coming. It took about 3 seconds before he realized what happened then that little bottom lip started to quiver and the scream let out. He only cried for about 10 seconds. I fed him a little then we went home where he has slept on and off most of the day. He hasn't been too fussy though, and we have even seen some smiles. He did get the news today that Granddad and Grandma Downs will be visiting this weekend so he is excited! They will be amazed at how much he has grown!!

We got a laugh from Lincoln!

Last night, Christopher and I were bathing Lincoln. He just started laughing out loud. It was the first time we heard him laugh! I don't know what was more funny though...him laughing or the look that Christopher and I gave each other. We were like did we just hear what we thought we heard?! haha:) He kept laughing out loud so I had Christopher go get the video camera and of course, no more vocal laughter. It was the sweetest sound ever! Oh, and by the way, he's 2 months old today! Time is flying by.....

Got myself some sunshine today

It was about 80 degrees today so when Paw and Nana visited, I went outside for some much needed sunshine.

I don't sleep much during the day. In fact, I only take 30-45 minute power naps after each feeding so Mommy sometimes has a hard time getting things done around the house. BUT, when I get in my car seat, I am fast asleep! I love taking rides!

Well, Daddy's Irish so I guess that makes me a little Irish. I've got my green on so no pinching!

Mommy loves Lincoln...

Lincoln is such a wonderful baby. I can't imagine my life without him now, even though there are days I don't get anything done! He is simply beautiful.
